Asphalt Paving Services is pleased to be welcoming two new members to our team in Geelong. We feel challenging times call for fast and effective measures, so we have secured our A team and strengthened our skills. “Don’t decrease the goal. Increase the effort”
Firstly, we would like to welcome our new Business Manager, James Phyland. James has an extensive background in managing large to small businesses, including as the State Manager of one of the largest logistics companies in Australia (AWH).
James lives locally in Geelong with his partner Karina and their three children. James’s focus for APS, will be to remain competitive, identify any inefficacies, and to create new opportunities.
“APS’s greatest advantage is their ability to be agile, we have the ability to scale our efforts and at the same time offer a variety of work to our customers.”
Russell Netherway has also joined our team from Elite Asphalt in Melbourne. Russell’s role with us is as Foreman of the paving crew. Russell has been developing his paving skills for many years and has had the opportunity to work under some very specialist operators. Russell is keen to lead and provide support to the APS crew to ensure they can continue to deliver the expertise they are known for. Russell is also a local Lara resident where he lives with his partner Amanda and their children.
At APS we are so grateful in these challenging times to be able to continue to provide road service to the communities we serve and determined to maintain and support local employment.
