APS was proud to play a key role in the Djilang Rail Project here in our own backyard of Geelong. Over the course of 2024, our crews laid more than 15,000 tonnes of asphalt, working across multiple key sites to help transform local transport infrastructure.
Our works included:
- Redo of Marshall Station and South Geelong Station
- Major works at Fyans St, Wood St, Barwon Terrace, Yarra St, and Swanston St level crossings
- Upgrades at Carr St, Station St Marshall, and Marshalltown Rd level crossing
- Removal of the level crossing on the Torquay Hwy and associated works
We’re proud to have contributed to such an important project for the local community, improving safety, accessibility, and efficiency for passengers and road users alike.
Being able to deliver this in our hometown made the project even more special — a chance to work alongside other local crews and leave a lasting benefit for the region.
